Hello and thank you for visiting my site,

My mission is to make use of the best photos that I've taken of an event. Then, create my images with my current knowledge and skills of CaptureNX2 with Color Efex 3.0 filters and share them with you. I feel that I can create quality images by correcting most parts of a photograph and sometimes provide a creative touch, by use of filters.

What I mean by correcting parts of a photograph is to correct for color first. This includes correcting for color balance, warmth, saturation, hue, brightness and contrast. And then, correct everything else which includes tonal contrast, sharpness and noise reduction. Until I have everything color correct, in my eyes, I will then play with filtering in order to capture a feeling that I believe goes together for my intended image. Any well exposed picture can easily be made into a great print. But, you have to know, with a lot practice, what you want; exactly.

Let me describe why I call this site 1 of One Photo. My photography is centered around making a statue or three dimensional imagery. Each piece is centered around the soul of my subject. I use every means possible to reveal something about whomever I am taking. I entered these works of art in fairs and, most of the time, they were given awards. I honestly believe that I can enter any of my 1 of one pieces into any fair, at will, and they will earn me a prize. These pieces are labor intensive pieces and can truly be appreciated only by seeing the piece in person. Once I finish making them, I want to go on to make something different. I don't show them on this site because they are my past and this site is to show you what I am about today. But, I love making this type of artwork and I will say, "Never say never.". It's possible that if I make anymore I will share them with you.
